The Edmonds Environmental Council (EEC) values the support of our donors, members, and anyone who shares our common goal of protecting the environment in Edmonds and surrounding communities. We are committed to maintaining the privacy of our supporters.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you use the website to sign up to become a member of the EEC or make a donation. When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, or phone number. You are also welcome to access our site without entering any personal information. Membership dues and donations are processed by Paypal; an unaffiliated digital payment processing service. The EEC does not collect or store your credit card information- all payment processing is handled on the Paypal site.
Any personal information we collect is used for internal review and is either deleted or used by us to contact members for purposes such as those described below. We keep all personal information entered during website registration confidential. When we do collect personally identifiable information, it is always voluntarily submitted by you (e.g., when you fill out the website registration form). The information collected is used to send our users email messages, annual dues reminders, and other information about our work we think will be of interest to you. This website is hosted by Bluehost. Bluehost collects personal data when you visit this website, including: Information about your browser, network and device; web pages you visited prior to coming to this website; web pages you view while on this website; and your IP address. Bluehost needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Bluehost stores and analyzes the data in anonymized form – which means the stored data cannot be used to identify you.

If for any reason you would like to be removed from our mailing lists, you can unsubscribe by replying to any email you receive from us with the request “unsubscribe” or by sending an email message to Edmonds.Envir.Council@gmail.com with your request.
